A day after staging successful ‘Eddy Kenzo Festival’ at Kololo Independence Grounds, Eddy Kenzo has cried in press conference claiming mafias are threatening to kill him.
The Big Talent CEO, wanted to stage the festival in 2020 but Covid-19 happened. On Saturday, he made history by staging a concert which showed togetherness as artists turned up and supported him without pay.
Local artists; Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, Fik Fameica, David Lutalo among many others performed. International artists; Harmonize from Tanzania, Matt B from USA, Bahati from Kenya, Bruce Melodie from Rwanda and others jetted in to support Kenzo.
All went well, however, today in a press conference, Eddy Kenzo broke down and revealed he has been receiving death threats that some people are plotting to kill him.
He asked his fans to put him in their prayers saying that this issue is serious.
For now, we can’t tell who could be behind this but since he talked about to Bobi Wine, People Power fanatics have been on his case.
Bobi Wine and Kenzo’s beef started in August 2020, after the ‘Sitya Loss’ hitmaker accused NUP principal of sabotaging big artists and taking himself as a small god. He also labeled the Ghetto Gladiator a fool.
This was after Kenzo returned from the US in October 2019 and expected Bobi Wine to welcome him at Entebbe International airport.
By that time, Kenzo was depressed after his baby mama, Rema Namakula did unthinkable and introduced Dr. Hamza Sebunya to her parents.
After Bobi Wine snubbed Eddy Kenzo, the Big Talent CEO got angry and decided to meet president Museveni.
Recently, Eddy Kenzo joined Team Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and we suspect death threats could be in line with politics.
