They wanted me dead – Hon Munyagwa speaks about the robbery attack at his home

Former Kawempe North Member of parliament Hon Mubaraka Munyagwa has spoken about the robbery that recently happened at his home.
He said these robbers were not at his place to just steal, their main aim was to kill him and his family at large.
Hon Munyagwa was yesterday woken up in the middle of the night by robbers who were armed with sharp objects.
By the time he heard them, they had already cut the security man at his home who is currently in coma at Mulago hospital.
Fortunately he was quick to call the police who showed up in time and the thieves managed to flee his home without attacking any of his family members.
“The attempted robbery seemed more like a concealed assassination attempt against me. While they targeted my neighbors for possessions, their focus in my case appeared to be a deliberate attempt on my life, masked as a robbery,” –Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa
