Bukedde FM presenter, Suuna Ben is taking city by storm and has landed deal to play at Fire Boy concert this Saturday, April 30th at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Suuna Ben rose to fame while working with Buddu FM in Masaka. His partnership with Mbazira Tonny playing music mixes that are unique for their faster BPM ‘Ebiyanyayanya’ has marketed the pair in central region.
Suuna Ben and Mbazira Tonny are the first Deejays since the era of mobile discos to stage concerts without any singer or comedian.
Having realised that ‘Ebiyanyayanya’ is still deep-rooted into Ugandans, promoters are now booking the pair to thrill revelers.
Sunna who now works on Bukedde FM is a man whose audience is completely different from that of Fireboy, and one might wonder what that dynamic will look like.
While he appeals mostly to a ‘downtown’ audience, Suuna was added on the performance list after the ‘uptown’ crowd on Twitter asked that they want to see him perform.
Following the Twitter buzz, event organizer Malembe Lifestyle reached out to him, a deal was closed and they made it official with a poster.
The certified Muna Buddu will be performing alongside some of Uganda’s Biggest DJs’ and artistes like Sheebah and Navio tomorrow.
