Precious Remmie aka Ray P, real name Remma Nakitto yesterday resigned from Spark TV following four years of dedicated service at Serena-based station.

Precious Remmie and Gabbie Ntaate joined Spark TV as ‘Live Wire’ presenters after Anna Talia Ozze and Zahara Totto landed a mega deal to host ‘UnCut’ on NBS TV in October 2018.

Since joining Spark TV, Remmie made her self a name as gossip queen but started getting frustrations at work after she introduced her fiance, Raymond Bindeeba.

When Gabbie Ntaate resigned in December last 2021, Remmie formed a partnership with Flavia Mawagi.

However, her move to Galaxy FM did not please top bosses at Spark TV.

In March this year, Spark TV unveiled Immy Candace to partner Flavia Mawagi on ‘Live Wire’, demoting Precious Remmie to present ‘Spark Updates‘.

Word has it that after UCC issued directive for all gossip shows to air between 10pm-5am, Remmie could not work late in the night.

Recently, Spark TV reinstated her on ‘Live Wire’ but yesterday, she threw in a towel and promised to announce her next move soon.

Am both incredibly sad and happy at this moment of my life, It’s been amazing 4years of working with SPARK TV/ NTV Uganda and all I can say is working with you has been a great gratification and I’m going to miss you so much, Your support and encouragement has been everything for the success of my career, Thank you so much for rendering me the opportunity to serve the company and the entire world at large, I will forever be grateful.

And to all my fans, thank you so much for making me the person that I have become.

My journey with Nation Media has ended and I promise to announce my next move as soon as possible.

This has been one of the toughest decisions I have ever made but am grateful to Allah #Excited.

An insider from Next Media, a company that runs NBS TV, Sanyuka TV, Nxt Radio intimated to us that Precious Remmie already signed a deal with them.

Last week, Next Media prized Ann Taylor, Ssuuna Ben from Bukedde. They also recruited former Capital FM ‘Late Date’ presenter, Daniel Kanyerezi aka Irish Kyebandula.

We hear Saymore Kawalata is also on the move from BBS TV to Sanyuka TV.

Next Media is beefing up as they prepare to launch Sanyuka on DSTV.

Since Kin Kariisa took over NBS Television from its founder, Nathan Igeme Nabeeta in 2008, his mission has been simple – turning Next Media Services into the biggest media house in Uganda.
