Trendy Ebiyanyayanya maestro, DJ Ssuna Ben ‘Owensasage’ has quit Bukedde FM and joined Next Media Services in multi-million transfer move as we told you earlier this week.

On Monday, we landed on exclusive intel that Next Media Services, a company that runs NBS TV, Nxt Radio and Sanyuka TV were planning to unveil, Ssuuna Ben, Ann Taylor and Precious Remmie before this week ends.

On Monday, Ann Taylor resigned from Bukedde TV where she was hosting ‘Akayisanyo’ program for 8 years and told her fans she will be revealing her next move.

Yesterday, Next Media Services CEO, Kin Kariisa and chief strategist, Joel Kigozi welcomed Ssunna Ben to the Naguru Summit View base.

We are yet to know which show he will be presenting. On Bukedde FM, he was presenting an evening show ‘Washing Bay’.

Whichever show they give to Ssuuna Ben whether on television or Radio, he will be a success. The guy is talented.

Since Ssuuna and and Mbazira Tonny relocated from Buddu FM in Masaka and joined Bukedde FM and CBS FM respectively, they are continuing to thrive.

Nowadays, its hard for even promoters to stage shows without booking the Ebiyanyayanya maestros.

On Wednesday, Ssuuna and Mbazira Tonny launched a new venture, Streamline Avenue, a campany that specializes in Commercial (ads) production for both Television & Radio, Radio Programming, Events Filming & Photography, Music Video Production, Graphics and Printing.

Kin Karisa on Move to make Next media Services No.1:

Since Kin Kariisa took over NBS Television from its founder, Nathan Igeme Nabeeta in 2008, his mission has been simple – turning Next Media Services into the biggest media house in Uganda.

Kin Kariisa

On top of NBS TV, Kiriisa started a Luganda station – Sanyuka TV, Salam TV (Muslim channel), Next Radio among many others.

He has no time to train employees and has resorted to raiding personalities from rival media stations.

The likes of Douglas Lwanga, MC Kats, Andrew Kabuura, Raymond Mujuni (who later returned to Serena), Hatmah Nalugwa Ssekaaya, Zahara Toto, and Anatalie Ozzie among many others have crossed to Next Media in big money moves.
