Details of Paul Pogba’s conversation with Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele about joining MAnchester United have emerged.
Dembele has emerged as a cheaper alternative to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho ahead of Monday’s deadline.
Mundo Deportivo says France international Pogba has now called Dembele to talk up a move to Old Trafford.
It is claimed Pogba discussed United’s ambitions and pointed out there are many French speakers at the club, including Anthony Martial and Eric Bailly.
He is also said to have suggested Dembele will get more chances at United, as currently he has to compete with Ansu Fati and Francisco Trincao at the Camp Nou.
Finally, he pointed out it would be beneficial for him in his bid to return to the France set-up, with the European Championships on the horizon.
