Manchester United are eyeing Sevilla attacker Lucas Ocampos for a late summer swoop.
The 26-year-old impressed in his club’s Europa League winning campaign last season, and was one of the standout performers against United in the semis.
ESPN says United could now move for Ocampos, who club scouts have been running the rule over ahead of a possible transfer.
Ocampos’ versatility appeals to United as he can play anywhere across the forward line, and his physical attributes are also considered a plus point that would help him adapt to the Premier League.
Sevilla are said to be willing to let the player go just a year after signing him from Marseille.
The La Liga club paid around €15million (£13.5m) for Ocampos’s services, and would accept a bid in the region of €40m (£36m) to allow him to leave this summer.
