Diamond Platnumz took it personal when Forbes snubbed him from the 20 richest artists in Africa 2020 and he is all out to prove them wrong.
After the snub, Diamond took to social media and hurled insults at Forbes and told them to always first do research before putting him on their ‘stupid’ list.
“FORBES: next time google me to know what am really worth of, before putting me on your Stupid Richest African Musicians List!!!”, Diamond posted.
In May when Zari and her two children visited Tanzania, Diamond Platnumz shipped in two personalized Cadillac Escalade Concept One Curve, adding it to his expensive fleet collection.
Last month, Diamond traveled to the US for to attend the BET Awards that took place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles but unfortunately lost to the the Best International Act award to Nigerian star, Burna Boy.
After the awards, Chibu linked up with Alicia Keys husband and renowned Ruff Ryders producer, Swizz Beatz to record songs for his upcoming album. Diamond had a deal with Swizz Beatz to record songs at his studio after he did a collabo with Alicia Keyz dubbed ‘Wasted Energy’ from her ‘Alicia’ album last year.
In the process, he met the likes of Busta Rhymes, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa among others.
Fresh returning from the US, Diamond Platnumz shipped in a monster Rolls Royce Cullinan 2021 valued at $382,000 before tax. He recorded a video at his mansion on Mbeya Beach in Dar es Salaam and captioned it;
“I received my Rolls Royce Cullinan 2021 zero kilometre today….What a Blessed day”.
Zari was among the first person to congratulate him and disclosed that she is the one who advised him to buy the Rolls Royce Cullinan 2021 in blue colour.
“Glad you chose the colours we agreed on, Congratulations”, Zaro commented on Diamond’s post on Insta.
In total, Diamond now has seven monster cars; 2 Toyota Land Cruiser V8, 1 Toyota Prado TX-L, 2 Cadillac Escalade Concept One Curve, Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce Cullinan 2021.
Zari and Diamond Platnumz are set to make an appearance in a reality show to be aired on Netflix.
In May, the pair spent almost two weeks together in South Africa and celebrated Eid with kids.
This month, Princess Tiffah revealed that Zari is in love with Diamond Platnumz, a week after she had separated with Dark Stallion following 6 months in relationship.
