Diamond Platnumz has expressed his anger after Forbes released a list of the top 20 richest artists in Africa; without including him.

The Tanzanian musician is without a doubt one of the richest in the region, with an estimated net worth of Ksh 751 Million. The musician however, definitely thinks he is worth more than that. He owns several businesses, including Wasafi TV and Wasafi radio station.

Additionally, Diamond Platnumz has several endorsements, where he gets a sumptuous amount of money; without mentioning his music. The fact that he’s also a Rolls Royce owner hints his net worth is definitely more.

In the Forbes list, the only East African artistes that appeared were Bobi Wine and Kenya’s Akothee.

Diamond has now taken to social media to address the issue. He thinks that he should have definitely been on the list. He wrote;

“FORBES: next time google me to know what am really worth of, before putting me on your Stupid Richest African Musicians List!!!”

The Forbes list was released last week and Diamond Platnumz was one of the artist that most fans thought he should have been included in there. Apparently, he also thinks the same. Let’s hope he will be included in this years list.

Since his breakthrough, Diamond Platnumz has established himself as the top East African Artiste. He wrecks in money left, right and centre from performances, YouTube views and endorsements.

His collaborations with different artistes have also pushed his brand beyond the African boarders. If he keeps with this pace, in the next five years, Diamond will be among the top 3 African artistes.
