What killed him? Morgan Heritage lead singer Peter announced dead

The famous Jamaican Raggae Band singer Peter Morgan Heritage has been announced dead.

According media reports Morgan Heritage’s social media page confirmed that their lead singer, Peter “Peetah” Morgan, age 47, passed away.

Morgan Heritage is a Grammy Award winning-group, known for songs such as Don’t Haffi Dread (To Be Rasta), Down by the River and She’s Still Loving Me.

His family posted on the social media platforms that their beloved son, father, husband and brother died.

They asked for privacy from the media and all other people so that they can mourn their person without any hindrances.

“It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son, and brother and lead singer of Morgan Heritage Peter Anthony Morgan has ascended today…Jah come and save us from ourselves because love is the only way. Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support, and we ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of healing.”

It is said that Peter died from a stroke and his death was sudden because he wasn’t sick at all.

It should be noted that the last time this band group came to Uganda, they were premiering their album.

They held a successful listeners party and their fans showed up in large numbers.
