Vipers SC Elevate Steven Mulindwa To General Manager Role

The changes continue to take place at Vipers Sports Club as the club president Dr Lawrence Mulindwa looks to make the institution’s new structures take shape and forthwith work.

A day after appointed former international Fifa grade referee Charles Masembe as the club’s new Sporting Director, Dr Mulindwa promoted the club’s Logistics Manager Steven Mulindwa to a new post created within the club management as General Manager earlier today.

This was after his satisfactory work as Logistics Manager for the last two years – a post he has faithfully and whose duties he has carried out with distinction to-date.

Steven Mulindwa, who holds a Master’s Degree in International Business and Economics from the University of Surrey in United Kingdom, will now take on the new role with his primary role to oversee general duties of the club. He will also lead the core research team that will be charged with holding the club vision of becoming the best club on the continent as well as managing institution’s estates.

“Our dream is to become a first class footballing club on the continent and we can achieve our goal with the kind of management we are putting in place. Steven is young but visionary and energetic. He can take us miles with his experience,” Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa, who is also an Honorary Fufa president said.

The General Manager will report directly to the club president and Board of Directors carrying on other duties as assigned by the above offices within the club structures.
