Ronald Mayinja has asked president Museveni to appoint him as minister of Entertainment industry.
The controversial band singer who crossed from NUP to NRM last year, insists he doesn’t have any regrets joining the ruling party.
Word has it that Sevo paid his debts and gave him cash that he used to finish his house in Munyonyo.
Mayinja says the industry deserves recognition and should get its own ministry.
I am praying that the President appoints me as the head of the entertainment industry. We need our ministry that deals with our affairs. Our money will be coming straight to us
Mayinja said during a television interview.
Mayinja added that he will heavily lobby for the musicians and all entertainers if given the chance to head the ministry.
