PSG remain interested in Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
The French giants are following the Argentine’s situation in Catalonia.
In January, PSG chief Leonardo said that “big players like Lionel Messi are always on PSG‘s wishlist, but of course it’s not the moment to talk or dream about it, but we’re sitting at the big table, following it closely.”
A month later he was more coy: “Sincerely, I don’t want to get into this debate, precisely because the respect has always been there. It’s not the moment to analyse this situation.”
Manchester City have not said anything about the player and indications are they won’t try and sign him on a free, for now. Messi’s contract expires in June.
“We are alert but there’s nothing,” said Leonardo in March. He is not forgetting Leo and Ronald Koeman previously said he’s been annoyed by it.
Barcelona are fighting for the double still and Messi is a key part of that. He is also waiting to see what new president Joan Laporta can offer in terms of a project for next season.
This is the baddest guy around town. Hook me up so that we can share some routine infor in the area.
