Singer, Pius Mayanja is in tears after the tax body, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) decided to auction his dream car.

Pallaso who was hit had by Covid-19 like any other artiste, bought a car and kept in bond for almost a year. Since March 2020, most artistes have been grounded with no work due to lockdown.

The ‘Malamu’ hitmaker who had planned to make dime out of bookings and concerts to clear his car, found himself with no income to do so. This prompted URA to auction his car.

Pallaso took to Twitter and shared the sad news.

I can’t believe URA is auctioning my car for sale. It has been seated there for a year now while I haven’t been on stage to pay for it. My dream car is going to ashes. I wonder how they expect me to be able to pay without work in this pandemic

As we speak Pallaso is in South Africa for business.
