NBS’ Hatma Nalugwa emotional as she narrated how she lost daughter last year

NBS television news anchor Hatma Nalugwa Ssekaya was very emotional as she narrated how she lost her daughter last year.

She said during that period she didn’t take a break from her work. She stayed strong and working like nothing had happened.

Hatma Nalugwa is a mother of four children the fifth one  is the one she lost. She said it was one of the hardest times but she didn’t known how she managed to survive it.

According to Hatma, her daughter was normal until one day when she started complain about headache. 

When she taken to the hospital she already had a seizure and was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unfortunately they couldn’t operate her even when they tried to take her to Turkey.

Hatma revealed that family and friends were there for them throughout the whole period. Although she lost her daughter she had to keep her faith and know things happen for a reason.

“I can’t forget September of last year when I lost a daughter. The sickness started in June and in September she died. As parents we tried everything we could afford but we couldn’t give her life,”
