Nations media Group has announced Dembe FM 90.4 ‘Omuziki N’ebikuzimba’ will have no scheduled programing as the management reassesses whether its fit for business.

Dembe FM over some time has been struggling despite having big name media personalities and programs; Kasuku, Bina Babie, Jenkins Mukasa, Eddy Ssendi, Jacob Omutuze, Doreen Nasasiira among many others.

Dembe FM is run by Nations Media Group as a Luganda station. Nations Media Group also runs other stations; NTV Uganda, KFM and Daily Monitor newspapers.

This evening Nations media group issued a statement which caught many off-guard.

We regret to inform our esteemed listeners, clients and other stakeholders of 90.4 Dembe FM that the station will, for the foreseeable future, have no scheduled programming as the board and managemnet reassesses its continued viability as a business concern.

If the station closes shop, over 50 employees will be back on the streets to look for jobs.

Celebrated gossipmonger, Isaac katende aka Kasuku who foresaw the future and started a YouTube channel, has decided to move ‘Talk and Talk’ show which has been running every Saturday 10-1AM to Kasuku Live YouTube channel.

Kasuku’s move is wise for business. No live YouTube show in Uganda bests Talk and Talk Show on Saturday. The show also has many sponsors, if Kasuku convinces the advertisers to stay with him, he will be untouchable.
