Jacob Oulanyah Laid To Rest As Dad Insists His Son Was poisoned

The former Speaker of Ugandan parliament, Jacob Oulanyah has been laid to rest at his ancestral home in Ayom Lony village, Lalogi sub-county in Omoro district this afternoon.
Oulanyah died on March 20, 2022 in Seattle, USA, where he had been admitted since February.
The Minister of Health, Dr.Jane Ruth Aceng earlier this week told parliament that Oulanyah’s immediate cause of death was multiple organ failure stemming from a cancer he had.
However, Mzee Nathan Okori told mourners that his son was poisoned.
I am not mourning in vain. I want to state clearly that Jacob was poisoned. He told me and that he was operated as doctors attempted to deal with poison. It affected his health so badly and by time he as flown out he was not in position to recover

Oulanyah’s brother, Francis Emuna also revealed that a certain government official denied him flying to the US to donate his organs which he says could have saved the Speaker’s life.
He also disclosed that they are going to front Ojok Andrew (Jacob Oulanyah’s son) in the Omoro county by-elections to take his father’s legacy.
Jacob Oulanyah received a 17 gun salute as body lowered into the ground.
