Word from Kitende indicates that former KCCA FC manager, Mike Mutebi has agreed a deal to join Vipers SC next season.

Inside sources intimated to us that Mutebi put pen to paper on a three year employment contract to replace Fred Kajoba who resigned from the role in May this year. Vipers SC Technical Director, Charles Masembe asked Kajoba to choose between club and national team. Kajoba instead opted to keep his goalkeeping coach job with the Uganda Cranes.

Mike Mutebi spent five years at KCCA FC winning 2 Uganda Premier League titles, 2 Uganda Cups, 4 Super Cups and 1 CECAFA club cup making him the most successful coach in the club’s history. He was sacked in March this year.
