Chaos At NUP As Vetting Committee Reject Bobi Wine’s Brother Eddie Yawe, CBS FM Presenter, Patrick Mujuuka

The National Unity Platform (NUP) vetting committee have snubbed Bobi Wine’s brother, Eddie Yawe and CBS FM presenter, Patrick Mujuuka as the eleased the list of the party’s selected flag bearers for the position of Member of Parliament in the central region.

The lists were released by the NUP Executive Board after a rigorous vetting and screening activity.

NUP election management committee led by Mercy Walukamba kicked off the party’s vetting process this month with intent to choose flagbearers for different positions ahead of the 2021 general elections.

From the provisional list of successful candidates released yesterday,  Bobi Wine’s brother and singer, Eddie Yawe lost the Kira Municipality seat to Jimmy Lukwago, a former owner of Kira Young football club.

CBS FM presenter and actor, Patrick Mujuuka alias Patriko also lost to Ssimbwa Fred in Nakifuma County.

Other media personalities; Dennis Katongole ‘Omutongole’ and Joan Nakintu Lule also failed to convince the National Unity Platform Electoral Vetting Committee and missed out on the party flag in Kayunga (Baale constituency) and Mpigi (Woman) respectively.
