Balaam to get all NUP political prisoners released 

Events promoter and now state minister Balaam Barugahara has promised to get all National Unity Platform (NUP) prisoners released.

He said it is going to be his first agenda and he will make sure he full fills it at any moment since he is in office.

National Unity Platform (NUP) is led by singer cum politician Bobi Wine. Most of his supporters were arrested and some were tortured and killed.

Bobi Wine has always said there are his supporters that were arrested and have never been seen anywhere.

He believes some are dead and others are just rotting in prison without help is anyone knowing anything about them.

According to Balaam, he has always felt for the families of these people that have their people in prison.

He said since he got appointed, he has been thinking about releasing those people and he can’t wait for them to be back with their families.

“My first agenda is to get all NUP political prisoners release. I always wanted them to be back with their families and I am working hard to see that happen,”
