Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘s agent has hit out at Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has come under fire from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s agent for not creating enough chances for the striker. The Gabon international has not performed at his usual high standard since penning his lucrative new contract.

Aubameyang flopped once again as his side lost 2-0 to north London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.

The result leaves Arsenal 15th in the Premier League table after 11 games.

The Gunners have only scored 10 goals this season, a tally which is the fourth worst in the division.

But Aubameyang’s agent has looked to shift the blame from his client to the club.

The agent posted a photo on his Instagram story which showed Arsenal have created the least amount of chances of any teams in the top flight.

And he added a caption: “If you create chances…” in a dig at the Gunners hierarchy.

Arteta spoke after the loss to Spurs about the “urgency” in which his team must improve.

“By scoring goals, very simple,” the Spaniard said. “We need to score goals. If not, it’s unsustainable. It doesn’t matter what we do in other departments of the pitch, if we don’t score goals we can’t do nothing. We need to put the ball in the net, urgently.”

He added: “In terms of the performance they did everything I asked them to do. Absolutely everything. We played the way I believe we had to believe this game.
