60-Year Old, Halima Namakula Comes Out Of Music Retirement With A New Song

Legendary Halima Namakula has come out of music retirement at the age of 60 and set to drop new song titled ‘Ndikadiwa Naawe’.

Halima started singing in 1999 and dropped 5 albums before retiring in 2008.

The mother of 4,  a musician, actress, entrepreneur and humanitarian who was nominated in 2009 to represent Uganda in the Mrs. World beauty pageant, announced her music comeback on her facebook account.

Halima Namakula is a mother to former WBS TV presenter, Rachael K.

She is the founding member of Women At Work International, a non-government organization that helps to take commercial sex workers off the streets by creating job opportunities for them.
