UMA President, Sophie Gombya Discloses Why Revelers Pelt Big Eye With Bottles

The Uganda Music Association President, Sophie Gombya says the reason why revelsrs pelt Big Music CEO, Ibrahim Mayanja a.k.a Big Eye with bottles is because of his interference in politics.

“The reason Big Eye is pelted with bottles is not because he has no music but because is forcing himself on politics when he is not a musician. Instead of him going to studio to record his songs, he is busy attacking fans.” Sophie said.

She went ahead and asked the fans to respect the particular political parties that artistes support and kindly asked those who pelt bottles at musicians while on stage to stop.

“Please forgive us and allow us serve you. I kindly ask that you don’t segregate us though I believe Big Eye was pelted with bottles because he said he was going to walk to Magere and attack People Power supporters”, Sophie added.

She concluded by saying it your right to “eat”, but you don’t have to rub it in anyone’s face that you are “eating”.
