TYcoon SK Mbuga Set To Overhaul STV

Word from Buziga indicates that City tycoon, Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga is set to overhaul and turn STV into a sports television.

In 2019, SK Mbuga invested over 10bn in STV and many believed it would be the next big thing.

But three years down the road, the TV station is still struggling to capture the mass market despite recruiting the likes of Kazibwe Mbaziira Bashir, Tamale Mirundi, Full Figure, Robin Kisti among many others.

At first SK Mbuga wanted to bank on political talk shows and entertainment thinking they would attract mass viewership in vain.

Now we hear the tycoon is now planning to change the station to become a full Sports channel because there is limited competition in that field.
