As Ugandans gear up to celebrate Valentines day tomorrow, event organisers are doing whatever is neccessary to pull crowds to their shows.
Tomorrow, Alex Muhangi is organising ‘Rudeboy Live In Kampala’ at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Patrick Salvado has Africa Laughs Season 5 at Kololo Airstrip, Rema has a show at Hotel Africana and Maro also celebrates 10 years in Music at Mestil – Nsambya.
But the biggest battle is between the two friends turned enemies; Alex Muhangi and Patrick Salvado. Both venues are just a minute apart.
To make matters worse for Salvador, top music stars Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone are rallying their fans to attend Alex Muhangi’s Rudeboy concert and they have taken to Facebook.
Chameleone wrote: “We have walked this road lifting our African flags for a bigger Africa. Music built us family that we now hug about. Rudeboy welcome home. Where people are so loving and supportive regardless of the noise!! Performing live valentines Day.
Lugogo Cricket Oval.”
Bebe Cool as well called on his Gagamel army. He wrote “2020 music race begins and #Feeling is my first song/single off my 15 track UNTITLED album click here https://youtu.be/IC1wkPSqfEw to listen.
This song is a collaboration with Nigeria’s Legendary artist @Iamkiingrudy @rudeboypsqare who will also be performing this Friday in Kampala cricket oval”.
This is worrying Salvado’s camp who is also bringing in Tanzania’s Harmonize to supplement his comedy show.
