President Museveni Tests Positive For Covid-19, Isolates Himself

President, Yoweri Museveni

President of the republic of Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has isolated himself after testing positive for Covid-19.

Covid-19 killed millions around the World since the pandemic started spreading in 2019. Most countries implemented lockdown in bid to reduce the spread of the pandemic as scientists worked day and night to produce vaccines.

The pandemic which affected economies world wide seem to have gone but we might be wrong.

In the morning Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health Uganda, Dr. Diana Atwiine said the president tested for Covid-19 and decided to go into isolation.

President Museveni who is known for moving with his mask for protection, shocked netizens to hear that he survived Covid-19 when it was its peak and tested positive when the World seem to have moved on from the Pandemic.

This evening, the State House confirmed that president Museveni has taken leave to isolate himself at Nakasero after he tested positive for Covid-19.

President @KagutaMuseveni is not here for the next few days as he takes leave to self-isolate at Nakasero after testing positive for COVID-19. This is the very first time he will be away on sick leave.
