Man Utd manager Solskjaer admits Brighton win gives him selection headache

Manchester United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits the 3-0 win over Brighton on Wednesday has given him some selection headaches.

Eric Bailly, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata all impressed after not starting in Saturday’s clash with the Seagulls.

Asked if he’s been given some nice selection problems, Solskjaer said: “Yeah, of course. You want to go through in the cups, of course, but the players get a chance to get match minutes and impress.

“If you play well and perform… I thought the two in midfield, Scotty and Fred, were a shield in front of the back four as well and they were fantastic. I have got a couple of challenges, or headaches, or good decisions to make.”
