Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira, the Member of Parliament Kawempe South has officially quit National Unity Platform (NUP) and joined Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba (MK Movement).

Since winning the parliamentary seat, Bashir went AWOL and Kawempe South voters have been complaining that he has never gone back to the constituency.

NUP principal, Bobi Wine has also been attacking him for ghosting NUP meetings. After Bobi Wine’s words, NUP fanatics have been insulting Bashir.

Today, he finally announced that he has crossed from NUP and joined MK movement.

Bashir went ahead and asked the MK army to appoint him as the coordinator for Buganda region.

I want to be the General Cordinator of the MK army in Buganda region hope that post is still vacant?? I believe I am The best candidate for that post

He added

Before joining politics, Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira was a senior journalist and worked for several media houses; Bukedde TV, NBS TV, STV among others.

He owns a radio Television station, Nyce TV and Radio.
