NBS news anchor Canary Mugume has spoken the truth about being related to the first family of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

He has been sajd to be related to the first family for some years although he has never spoken about it in the public.

Canary Mugume met president Museveni when he was still young in primary school. By then he was in Mbarara and he got an opportunity to shake the president’s hands when he visited their school.

The next time Canary Mugume met President Museveni was when he was already working with NBS Television and he went to the state house to interview him.

He has never been seen hanging out with President Museveni’s children especially the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

He said he grew up with a single mother and he has worked hard for whatever he has. Not what people think that he has property from the first family.
