Catherine Kusasira Goes Back To School As She Targets EALA Seat

Band singer, presidential advisor and NRM mobiliser, Catherine Kusasira aka Mama Kabina is back to school as she targets East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) seat.

Kusasira picked interest in joining active politics after witnessing fellow artistes; Bobi Wine, Kato Lubwama, Geoffrey Lutaya among others wreck in big dimes from parliament.

The major challenge she has, many Ugandans look at her as an illiterate and to present Uganda in EALA, books are paramount.

This forced her to go back to school and she is pursuing a degree in Public Administration at Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Kibuli, Kampala campus.

In a recent interview on Spark TV, the ‘Nkola Ya Taxi‘ singer told Ibrah K Mukasa who was also shocked by her revelation.

She further revealed that she is studying other courses besides the Public Administration course that the public is not aware about.

She went ahead and scoffed at her critics who have been all along thinking that she is not learned. Kusasira opened up about her studies as she revealed that she is very serious about contesting for the EALA position.
