As rumours started circulating that singer, Kigundu Bruno aka Bruno K and NTV ‘Akawungeezi’ news reader, Faridah Nakazibwe were dating, she hosted the former on ‘Mwasuze Mutya’ program.

In the same week, Bruno K recorded a song titled ‘Faridah’ and released it.

During the show, the pair didn’t confirm or refute allegations that they were romantically involved but the singer promised Faridah that he would record a song just for her.

He indeed kept his promise and two days later the audio of the song was released. A few weeks after the audio release, he released the official video that had a vixen who looked so much like Nakazibwe.

The video raised a lot of dust after fans realized the vixen looked so much like Nakazibwe. In an interview with Calvin Da Entertainer on UBC over the weekend, Bruno K revealed that the lady in the video was not Nakazibwe’s look alike but rather Nakazibwe.

According to Bruno K, he advised by his videographer to do everything he can to get Nakazibwe to feature in the video. Given that they had established friendship after the Mwasuze Mutya show, Bruno approached her and begged her to feature in the video.

“Since the show, we became friends, so it was easy for me to approach her and ask her to be part of the video. I thought she wouldn’t accept since she is a very reserved and principled lady but after begging her, she was ok with it and I am very grateful to her.” Bruno K said.

Bruno also revealed that Nakazibwe was the one who wrote the script of the video since she loved the song so much and asked to participate.
