Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly has more power when it comes to transfer dealings.

The Gunners recently announced head of football Raul Sanllehi was leaving the club amid a restructuring.

Managing director Vinai Venkatesham is absorbing his role.

And The Times says Arteta will now have a lot of say in who comes in and goes out at the club.

The young manager has only been in charge for half a season, but has already won the FA Cup for his team.

Reportedly the deal that brought Nicholas Pepe to Arsenal, which cost more than 70 million, is one of the reasons why Sanllehi is no longer at the club.

Arteta will work with technical director Edu on transfers, with Venkatesham dealing with the financial aspect of the process.
