It was glamour yesterday as NTV news anchor, Raymond Mujuni visited Rita Kanya’s parents in Kisoro for traditional marriage ceremony locally known as Kuhingira/Gusaba Nogukwa.
Kuhingira/Gusaba Nogukwa is the ceremony where parents of the bride officially hands her over to the groom pending wedding.
Mujuni paid for Rita’s dowry and edged ever so nearer to their official holy matrimony which will reportedly happen soon as well.
Mujuni was escorted by Assistant Inspector General of Police, Asan Kasingye, former Vision Group CEO, Robert Kabushenga, some NTV staff members among others.
Raymond Mujuni proposed to NTV workmate, Rita Kanya on the evening of Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Kampala.
He later shared the exciting news on twitter.
“Just in: The most beautiful girl in the world said yes to my most difficult question,” Mujuni posted.
In May, Rita Kanya introduced NTV workmate Raymond ‘Qatahar’ Mjuni to her parents in a colorful traditional ceremony known as ‘Gufuta Irembo’.
The pair have been living as husband and wife.
