Ykee Benda’s Mpaka Records Studios Swept Clean By Thieves

Uganda Musicians Association president and singer, Wycliffe Tugume aka Ykee Benda is in tears after thieves broke into his Mpaka Records studios, sweeping it clean.
In a video circulating online, Ykee Benda is seen interrogating one of his producers, Daryhits and a one, Sunday who reside at the studio premises.
It is said that robbery was carried out during the weekend.
Ykee Benda, a bio-chemical engineer left his profession to pursue his passion in music after being inspired by the late Mowzey Radio.
He started Mpaka Records, set up an audio and visual studios.
Few years down the road, they have swept his studio clean. But we are told Producer Daryhits, who is the key suspect in the robbery is is corresponding positively with the law enforcers to recover the stolen equipment.
Ykee Benda took to his socials to announce that Mpaka Records Studios is out of bounds until further notice.
