Days after King Michael was handed eviction notice for failing to pay 6 months rent arrears of 4.8m, local rapper, Derrick Katongole aka Victor Kamenyo decided to run away from the rental without paying a single coin.
In an interview conducted by NBS TV, a land lady is lamenting that since January, Victor Kamenyo refused to pay rent and decided to run away with his belongings yesterday without clearing 7 months arrears of 3.5m.
The ‘Silina Malala’ singer was paying 500k per month.
She reported the matter to the local council and agreed with Kamenyo to pay half and leave her house only to find an empty damaged house.
On top of rent arrears, Kamenyo disappeared without clearing 150k water bill.
Kamenyo recently abandoned his plans to unseat Lubaga North Member of Parliament Moses Kasibante.
