Rema Namakula has defied Tycoon, Godfery Kirumira’s command and told him she is not about to retire from music!

During Rema’s introduction ceremony that took place in Nabbingo-Masaka road in November 2019, Kirumira gave Rema five years to retire from music and concentrate on marriage.

Kirumira is an uncle to Hamza Sebunya, Rema’s hubby.

Speaking for the first time since the introduction, Kenzo’s ex said she is not ready to retire.

Rema spoke about the issue for the first time and she said she is not yet ready to retire insisting her dreams are not yet fulfilled.

She believes retiring from music is good for her  as a married woman but still has a lot to offer.

“What I can say is that I won’t retire until I have achieved all my goals. I still have many dreams  and my retirement will only come after achieving them. I don’t want to be here forever,” she said during an interview.

Rema Namakula is now preparing for her concert ‘Rema Namakula Live Concert’ slated for Valentines Day, February 14th at Nile Hall-Hotel Africana.
