Singer Nabawanuka Lydia also known by her stage name Lydia Jazmine has spoken about managers chewing their female artistes.

She said that’s why female musicians have struggled in the music industry trying to settle down with their careers.

Lydia Jazmine has been in the music industry for more seven years but in all those years she has been with different management.

She has been rumored to have been in love with her managers and that’s why she was moving from one manager to the other.

In a recent interview, Lydia Jazmine talked about it and she confirmed that different female musicians have struggled with their management.

According to Lydia Jazmine, there aren’t professional managers here in Uganda. Once one gets a male manager, they always want to mix work and pleasure.

Unfortunately the two can’t be mixed one one does that they end up losing the pleasure or the work which most the times it is the work lost.

The singer said management is one of the reasons she stepped back in her career but she is glad that she is back and ready to take her music career to the next level.

“We don’t have professional managers in Uganda, they all mix business with pleasure, that’s why you see most female artists struggle with management,”- Lydia Jazmine

It should be noted that most big female musicians here in Uganda have separated ways with their male managers.
