Vipers SC are set to lose four players on free transfer in this transfer window.

The players in question are; striker Dan Muzeyi Sserunkuma, goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya, midfielders Siraje Sentamu and Abraham Ndugwa whose contracts have expired at the 4-time Uganda Premier league champions.

Sserunkuma who joined Vipers in January, 2018 from Express FC, helped the Kitende-based club win 2017/18 and 2019/20 league titles but has fallen behind Ceasar Manzoki, Yunus Sentamu and youngster Richard Basangwa in the pecking order.

Siraje Sentamu returned to Vipers SC at the start of the 2019/20 season following two seasons with URA FC but his career has been hampered by injuries.

Custodian Ssekagya joined Vipers at the beginning of the 2018/19 campaign on a three year deal. He was loaned to Proline FC during the 2019/20 campaign. It’s unlikely that the club give him a new deal.

Ndugwa made a return to Kitende from Masavu FC in 2018 on a three year employment contract but has struggled to get enough playing time.

Vipers finished third with 56 points, two below champions Express FC in the just concluded season.
