Tadeo Lwanga unveiled at Simba SC

Former Vipers SC captain, Taddeo Lwanga has joined TanzanianPremier League champions, Simba SC.

Lwanga has been a free agent since terminating his contract with Egyptian Premier League side, Tanta SC in July over unpaid wages.

Lwanga left Vipers in August 2019 following the expiry of his two years contract and signed a three year deal with Tanta Sports Cub.

In July this year, he left Tanta SC alongside Mario Bernard from Gabon before the end of the season.

Today he has been unveiled as Simba SC payer on undisclosed contract and fee.

Lwanga has been given shirt number 4 and moves into the footsteps of compatriots Emmanuel Okwi, Murushid Jjuuko and Hamis Diego Kiiza who have played for Msimbazi before.

 

Lwanga played for Express FC in the 2014/15 season before moving to SC Villa.

At Villa, he played two seasons, captaining the Jogoos to a third place finish in the 2016/17 season.

He then joined Vipers SC at the start of the 2017/18 season. He guided the Venoms to the 2017/18 League title, a quarterfinal slot in the Cecafa Kagame Cup and Uganda Cup runners up.

The skipper also played a big role as Vipers SC finished second in the League in 2018/19 season.
