Express FC Sack Head Coach George Ssimwogerere, Bring Back Wasswa Bbosa

Express FC have sacked head coach, George Ssimwogerere and his technical staff.

Ssimwogerere who took over from Kefa Kisala midway last season, was sacked over poor results.

The development was confirmed by official Facebook account.

“Coach George Ssimwogerere Leaves The Club. The coach and the club board have agreed to part ways on a mutual agreement. The club thanks the coach and his technical staff for the work done and wish them best in the future”.

 

Meanwhile, the Red Eagles have confirmed the re-appointment of Wasswa Bbosa as new head coach.

“Coach Wasswa Bbosa Rejoins Express as Head Coach. The coach will replace coach George Ssimwogerere for his second stint and his technical team will be confirmed later. Welcome back home Coach Bbosa”, Club statement reads.

The former Express player will take charge of the Red Eagles until the end of the season.

He will work with other club legends James Odoch as his immediate deputy and Sam Kawalya as the goalkeepers coach.

His immediate task will be helping Express to beat the drop at the of the season that has only 10 games left.

This will be his return to Wankulukuku having left the Express coaching role unceremoniously in November 2016.

Bbosa’s homecoming will find Express in the 13th place with 21 points got from 20 games played.
