Deejay Nimrod, Shafiq Walakira Released On Police Bond

Deejay Nabeeta Nimrod and Shafiq Walakira habe been released on police bond!

Nimrod and Shafiq Walakira were arrested by joint security forces earlier in the day and detained Dj Nimrod at Katwe Police station for defying the presidential directive on food distribution.

Nimrod who works for the Kansanga-based local radio station was arrested in Makindye distributing food without observing Ministry of Health guidelines on Covid19.

Events promoter, Balaam Barugahara and his boss Innocent Nahabwe rescued him from the stinking Katwe coolers and he is now home.

President Museveni warned individuals against food distribution arguing that they are endangering the masses to the spread of pandemic Coronavirus and  authorised the task force to do the job.

Mityana Municipality MP, Francis Zaake was arrested for defying the presidential directives and he was released on bail yesterday.
