Fire Base Crew singer, Mayega Tadeo B aka Zex Bilangilangi is in hiding after being accused of failing to pay for shoes he wore during a television interview.
According to the accuser (Lady), Zex took the shoes worth Shs350,000 last month, promised to clear the debt and disappeared.
After he was spotted bragging on TV how his girlfriend gifted him the pair of shoes, the lady became mad and started demanding for the payment but the ‘Nalinda’ singer started playing games.
In bid secure her dime, she even went to his place. The lady claims Zex Bilangilangi begged her for some when she was at his place to demand the payment of the shoes.
Zex is not the first artistes to default on payment of goods, services and bookings.
Earlier this week, NRM mobiliser and band singer, Catherine Kusasira was pinned by celebrated city barber, Brian Lutaaya aka Brian Barber for failing to clear haircut debt of Shs300,000.
Brian Barber says the debt occurred in 2019 when Kusasira held her ‘Tears of a Woman’ concert that was graced by President Museveni at Serena Hotel.
Chosen Becky was also accused pocketing 1m and failed to perform at an event where she was booked.
