Wasswa Bbosa, James Odoch Extend Express FC Contracts

Head coach Wasswa Bbosa and his assistant James Odoch have renewed their contracts to stay at Express FC for another season.

Bbosa and Odoch who have been out of contract since the end of last season, are now preparing to lead the team in the CAF Champions League campaign.

Club CEO Isaac Mwesigwa stressed that both coaches deserved contract renewals for the outstanding job they’re doing at the club.

Everyone has been asking about the future of our coaches at the club but that’s no more. For me they have done a fantastic job along with the entire backroom staff and they deserve it. As a club we are glad that’s sorted now so focus is now on the continental campaign

For Wasswa Bbosa, it’s another season to create more history with the Red Eagles.

First of all i want to thank the chairman and the CEO for seeing to it that i and my backroom staff stay up for another season. We have achieved a lot together and i believe we shall achieve more this coming season, this was bound to happen but it was only a matter of time of time so now it’s time to double our efforts and parform well on the continent

Assistant coach James Odoch also added on his contract renewal.

This is a good step towards keeping the entire team intact, a big thank you to the chairman and CEO for making this happen, we now as a technical team are focused on our CAF Champions League campaign and we re hopeful we shall perform well.

Other members of the backroom staff; Goalkeeping coach Sam Kawalya, team physio Aloysius Makubuya, team doctors Wante Godfrey and Enock Kayondo have all extended their contracts at the club for the new season.

Last season, Express FC won Uganda Premier League and CECAFA Kagame Club championship.

The Red Eagles are camping in Entebbe as they prepare to face Sudan’s Al Merrikh on Friday 10th September in the CAF Champions League Preliminary round first leg tie at St. Mary’s stadium Kitende.
