Speke Hotel Writes to American Embassy, European Union To Arrest Don Zella Over Counterfeit Currency

Speke Apartments have written to American Embassy and European Union to arrest socialite, Sheila Nadege aka Nalongo Don Zella for circulating counterfeit US Dollars and Euro currency.

Don Zella sued Speke Hotel (1996) limited trading as Speke Apartments seeking damages worth $125,000 (about Shs 461 million).

On December 6, 2020, Don Zella rented two apartment rooms number 107 and 512 operated by Speke Apartments.

However, on December 25 while she and her family members were away, a thief or thieves at around 4 pm, broke into her apartment room 107, and stole her properties worth $125,000 (about Shs 461 million).

To protect their image, Speke Apartments involved the police and arrested a suspect Adome Jeremy, 36, who had fled to Arua.

A sum of 60,000 USD counterfeit money and other Euro currency was recovered from the suspect.

From the CCTV footage evidence, Speke Apartments say there was connaivance between Don Zella, her sister, Hamidah Shanita and the suspect,Adome Jeremy.

They argue that Don Zella is not eager to follow up on the case and she has gone into hiding, an indication that she is guilty.

Speake Apartments request American Embassy and European Union to act and arrest Don Zella before she flies out of the country.

They claim she is involved in international racket that deals in counterfeit American currency and Euro.
