Upcoming singer and footballer, Derrick Ddungu aka Rickman Manrick of ‘Bango’ hit song is in talks with Uganda Premier league giants, KCCA FC.
Rickman who is dating celebrated TV presenter and socialite, Sheilah Gashumba, wants to play for Ugandan clubs and he is reportedly on trials with the ‘Kasasiro Boys’.
An insider intimated to us that he wants to settle in Uganda having spent a lot of time in Sweden.
“He is on trials and if all goes well, he will sign a two-year contract,” An insider told Routineblast.com.
Last season, Rickman Manrick was playing for Sävedalen IF, a second division entity based in Gothenburg city, Sweden.
He previously played at Kampala Junior Team (KJT), The Reds, Friends of Football (FOF), Dalen KFF, Gunnilse IS and lately Sävedalen IF.
Lately, the ‘Bango’ hitmaker has been painting his social media pages with his photos donning a KCCA training jersey.
We hope he secures a move to KCCA FC and save Sheilah Gashumba from long journeys.
