Record TV Set To Close Shop

March 24, 2021

Record TV

Record TV is set to close for business anytime soon.

Word coming in indicates that the Kamwokya based television station forced all its employees to resign as they prepare to close at the end of this month.

Record TV started in 2006 broadcasting programs ranging from news, politics, entertainment and religion.

It nurtured presenters such as Andrew Kyamagero of NTV, Douglas Lwanga and DJ Mercy of NBS TV who by then used to present ‘Katogo Mix’ program.

We are yet to establish the main reason behind the pending closure but since Covid-19 struck, many stations found themselves in financial mess.

Top TV, one of the oldest Television stations is set to close shop.
