For as long as Kylian Mbappé remains with Paris Saint-Germain, rumors of a move to Real Madrid will always exist. Despite the 21-year-old confirming his stay for the 2020-21 season, stories are now carrying over for 2021.

According to Deportes Cuatro, the Spanish club is allocating funds for a potential purchase of the PSG forward next summer. It’s why Florentino Pérez, president of Los Blancos, doesn’t want to spend any money this transfer window unless it’s necessary.

Real Madrid is reportedly saving up €300-million for a potential purchase, they’ll depend on the sales of players like James Rodriguez, Garreth Bale, and others to finance their savings.

The Spanish club has begun this process after selling full-back Achraf Hakimi to Inter Milan for €40-million earlier this month.

It will be interesting to see how much money Real Madrid acquire from their sales as they want to save up and buy Mbappé in 2021.
