Celebrated journalist, Raymond ‘Qatahar’ Mujuni is rumoured to be exiting NTV soon.

Mujuni who left NTV for NBS TV and later returned to Serena-based station is alleged to have received a big offer to join Solomon Serwanjja at the Africa Institute of Investigative Journalism where will act as the Deputy Executive Director.

Last week Serwanjja announced he will be leaving NBS TV at the end of this month following six years at Naguru Hill based station to take over as Executive Director at African Institute for Investigative Journalism.

While at NBS TV, Serwanjja and Mujuni were in charge of investigative stories and African Institute for Investigative Journalism believe the pair can pull off the best job.

An investigative story on the illegal sale of prescription drugs won Serwanjja 2019 BBC World News Komla Dumor Award.

Mujuni is a responsible man, in April he proposed to NTV workmate Rita Kanya and later visited her parents.
