Raymond Mujuni yesterday treated his fiancee and NTV workmate, Rita Kanya to a surprise bridal shower as the pair prepare for holy matrimony.
Over the weekend, Mujuni escorted by Assistant Inspector General of Police, Asan Kasingye, former Vision Group CEO, Robert Kabushenga, some NTV staff members among others, visited Rita’s parents in Kisoro for giveaway ceremony locally known as Kuhingira/Gusaba Nogukwa.
Kuhingira/Gusaba Nogukwa is the ceremony where parents of the bride officially hands her over to the groom pending wedding.
Yesterday, Rita Kanya was surprised with a bridal shower which usually comes a few days to the church wedding.
The bridal shower was attended by close friends who followed the white and orange theme to congratulate Rita upon her achievement.
Mujuni proposed to NTV workmate, Rita Kanya on the evening of Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Kampala.
In May, Rita Kanya introduced NTV workmate Raymond ‘Qatahar’ Mjuni to her parents in a colorful traditional ceremony known as ‘Gufuta Irembo’.
