President Museveni Runs To State House Anti-Corruption Unit As Mafias Plot To Take His Land

President Museveni’s land in Katwekambwa in Kabulasoke sub county, Gomba district is under threat after land grabbers fraudulently acquired five land titles already registered in his names.

Peter Ssegane and Jimmy Suuna went to Ministry of Lands and fraudulently acquired land titles in 2016 on president Museveni’s farm which he bought in 2007.

State House anti-corruption Unit headed by Lt. Col. Edith Nakalema has so far arrested the suspects and handed them over to the police for thorough investigations.

“We are working with the police, investigations were initiated and the suspects arrested”, Nakalema said on Monday at her offices.

“We identified a number of lapses in the processing of the titles at the levels of the area Land Committee, District Land Board and Ministry of Lands”, She added.

The files in respect to the two suspects has been forwarded to the DPP and investigations are ongoing. All those found culpable will be prosecuted.
